Chris and Colleen were married on April 14th, with a ceremony and reception at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh.

These two originally met about 11 years ago because their siblings (Colleen’s sister and Chris’s brother) married each other! Actually, the two of them avoided each other for the first 8 years or so after that wedding, but about 2 and a half years ago, they finally connected at a party thrown by their siblings. So, of course, their wedding hashtag had to be #judge-golden2.0, and their families were thrilled to do this celebration all over again!

On the morning of the wedding, my second photographer, Lizzy, hung out with Chris and took some great photos of him and the guys. As for Colleen, I am in love with the photos of her dress that we did in their amazing Airbnb. Just look at how gorgeous that dress is! It’s perfectly suited for a stunning bride like Colleen.

I was also in love with the venue and the locations that we were able to use for our portraits. We did photos on the “Mexican War Streets,” which was also where Colleen got ready and which was only minutes away from the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh. Those street pictures were among my favorites from the whole day. The children’s museum is such a unique venue. As a Pittsburgh wedding photographer, there are so many opportunities for unique backdrops. I was so excited to capture a wedding at such a fun venue. They couldn’t have chosen anywhere better to capture the whimsy and fun that everyone enjoyed throughout their wedding.

I’d like to send a big thank you to Chris and Colleen for choosing me to capture the day! Your friends and family were so welcoming and treated Lizzy and me like one of the crowd. Also, thank you to the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh for hosting such a phenomenal event!
