James and KerriAnn Succop Nature Park Wedding

James and KerriAnn were married on October 12th, 2018, with a ceremony and reception at Succop Nature Park

These two have known each other since they were in middle school! James had always been shy and reserved, so it took him a while to work up the courage to ask out the cute girl in his classes. Finally, he asked her to be his girlfriend when they were seniors in high school!

Then, one Sunday, after they had been together for 8 years, KerriAnn got home to see that James had cleaned the whole house and had dinner made and ready. (This was especially nice for KerriAnn, not only because it meant she didn’t have to cook but because she knew what a big gesture it was for someone who doesn’t like cooking.) KerriAnn was tired, so she took the opportunity to relax and watch TV—until James came downstairs and got down on his knee! Both of them cried as James confessed his love and asked her to marry him.

With so much history between them, I knew that this wedding was going to be stunning and emotional—and I wasn’t disappointed! My associate and second photographer, Lizzy, and I couldn’t get over how amazing they were. And, of course, a wedding at Succop Nature Park is always a treat. With the picturesque setting of the lush greenery and the mansion, it was the perfect backdrop for James and KerriAnn to say “I do.”

I also loved all of the details they poured into the day. The vintage Photo Booth camper was a unique touch. And just look at her flowers! I couldn’t believe they were fake—they looked fabulous! The richness of the colors were absolutely stunning against her gorgeous Hayley Paige bridal gown. Can you get over the lace sleeves? It was perfect for an October wedding—especially one with an outdoor ceremony.
