In the end, love is really all that matters! Danielle and Will completely believe in this saying and proved it to be true when they got married after much rescheduling due to COVID. The lovely couple had an intimate November wedding in Hotel Monaco, 620 William Penn Place, Pittsburgh. It was a sweet and wonderful wedding with love in the air and happiness in the hearts of all the guests. I was the wedding photographer and loved capturing moments of joy and celebration at Danielle and Will’s wedding.
When I asked Danielle about Will’s proposal, she couldn’t stop blushing and told me all about how Will had nearly dragged her to a hike that she REALLY didn’t want to go on. She said she had been complaining the whole time, and Will kept lying that the top was around every single corner. When they reached the top, Will force-fed Danielle a sandwich because she was “hangry”. After she ate and the ‘hangry-ness’ disappeared, Will proposed! What a clever move Will, we must say!
On the wedding day, Danielle was super excited about the first look – with Will and with her dad too! As a photographer, I loved Danielle and Will’s wedding day. When I walked into the hotel suite where the ladies were getting ready, I was greeted by the cutest ‘best boy’ I have ever seen. He even had a little doggy tux on! Danielle was getting ready with her family, and there was such a palpable feeling of excitement! Danielle and Will’s plans had changed several times due to the pandemic, so this was an intimate celebration with the family. The florals were pretty, and I really liked that the couple had arranged a mask table for their guests from where they could pick up sterile masks.
Danielle and Will, yours was a perfect wedding! I loved it as a wedding photographer and a guest. Plus, Danielle, I love the advice you sent out to all the couples waiting to get married in the future. Danielle said, “Keep the big picture in mind, especially if planning a wedding that is scheduled to happen during the pandemic! The little things seem like a big deal, but at the end of the day and the end of the planning, all you really care about is getting married.”
We completely agree, Danielle. Thank you for your advice, and we love you! We wish you and Will a happy married life!
