Dani and Andrew were married on September 14th in an elegant wedding with a ceremony and reception at the James Gallery in downtown Pittsburgh. It was a beautiful wedding day, filled with love and joy. Plus, a wedding in downtown Pittsburgh allows for us to capture the iconic Pittsburgh skyline in the wedding photography! That’s one of the best parts about being a Pittsburgh wedding photographer.
I’m lucky enough to work with an extremely talented team of wedding photographers. Dani and Andrew’s downtown wedding was captured by my Associate Photographer, Jessica. I loved getting a chance to see this elegant wedding day unfold in the wedding images she captured.
Dani began the wedding day getting ready at the Sheraton Station Square. She looked radiant as she prepared for the day and got into her gown. When Dani was ready, we arranged for a first look with Andrew outside. It was a gloriously sunny September day and the Pittsburgh skyline was shining in the background. But nothing could outshine the love that Andrew and Dani share. Andrew’s face lit up when he saw Dani on the bridge. We took some beautiful pictures of the happy bride and groom while the sun glinted off the water and the buildings in the distance.
The James Gallery (website) is a unique and beautiful venue option for a downtown Pittsburgh wedding. It has stunning open spaces accented by refurbished elements and inspiring art. Weddings at The James Gallery are all unique since it is such a flexible event space. The décor for Andrew and Dani’s wedding was elegant with lilac, ivory, and shimmering golds coming together in a romantic and soft look. Their outdoor ceremony was held in the urban garden and it was so lovely. The brick exterior of the building and gently arcing trees provided a romantic yet sophisticated look and feel for the ceremony.
When it was time for the reception, the bride, groom and their guests headed inside. The evening was filled with so much happiness.
Dani and Andrew, thank you for asking us to be your wedding photographers. We wish you both years of continued happiness and it was a pleasure to document the first pages of your love story as husband and wife.
