Shelley & Craig were married in an amazing wedding on June 15 with a reception at Lingrow Farm in Leechburg PA. It was such an honor to be their wedding photographer. Honestly, I was spoiled at this wedding. Everywhere I turned, there was a stunning backdrop to photograph. Truly, it was an event to remember.

Shelley and Craig’s Love Story

I love hearing about how my wedding couples get engaged, so I loved this story of how Craig popped the question. Craig bought the ring on Mother’s Day and planned on waiting for a couple months before asking… but the next day he won tickets to the Pengiuns Playoff game that night! He couldn’t wait and thought it was perfect.

Craig attempted to propose on the rooftop of the restaurant they went to before the game, but Shelley was too cold. Then, he attempted to do it a few times during the game. But each time he went to try, Shelley wanted to go get food, or had to use the restroom. Craig attempted to take Shelley down to the Point after the game and propose there, but Shelley was tired.

They ended up going home after the game. Shelley came downstairs to relax on the couch for a little bit before bed. Craig, not to be deterred, started to tell her how he couldn’t imagine his life any different and how happy he was with the home that we were building together and that he wanted it to be “just like this” for the rest of his life. And finally, he was able to propose.

Obviously, Shelley said “Yes!”

Shelley & Craig’s Rustic Lingrow Farm Wedding

This ENTIRE Lingrow Farm wedding was a dream. Lingrow Farm in Leechburg is one of my absolute favorite venues! I love the natural beauty of it. There is such a rustic elegance imbued in this venue with over 50 acres of rolling Pennsylvania farm land. Plus, it really is a wedding photographer’s dream – there’s a photo spot every single time you turn around. Lizzy acted as my associate photographer and second shooter and we just couldn’t believe our luck. Not only was the venue amazing, but Shelley and Craig were just so much fun to photograph. I loved our night photos and the reception!

When asked if they had any advice for future couples planning, Shelley shared:

“Remember that this day is about celebrating your love for one another and not about anybody else!”

Shelley and Craig, I am so happy I was able to be a part of your beautiful Lingrow Farm wedding. Seeing how much joy you bring to each other truly brings a smile to my face. I hope that your honeymoon to Ocho Rios in Jamaica is absolutely amazing. Best of luck to you both!!
