Back in May, my associate photographers, Jessica and Lizzy had the opportunity to photograph Diana and Paul’s incredible University Club at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA. They had such an amazing time working with these two! Their love was contagious and my associate photographers had nothing but gushing things to say about the beautiful University Club wedding!
Diana & Paul’s University Club Wedding
When asked what advice they would give future couples planning their weddings, Diana and Paul said you need to consider what you want to have out of your day. That couldn’t be truer! When planning a wedding, it’s important to consider what’s important to you, and then work around that. Iron out the tough stuff first so everything else can feel like a breeze. One thing that Diana said she was pleased with was that she would not need alterations to her dress. One less thing!
If there’s one thing that stands out about Diana and Paul, it’s romance, especially Paul! When Diana told us how he had proposed to her, it almost brought tears to my eyes. She said Paul had taken her out for drinks and appetizers before heading to an Overlook over the city that they had visited on their 6th date. The entire ride, he played music from a mixtape he had made just for her! When they finally got to the overlook, in front of the entire city, Paul got down on one knee and proposed. Diana said it was such a beautiful night already, with clear skies and the entire city skyline in view. But, Paul proposing made the night even more special.
My shooters said the ceremony was beautiful and they could really feel the love in the air. Paul and Diana exchanged vows and then it was time to get to the reception! They said that was an absolute blast because Paul actually played in the wedding band! It appeared to be a family affair because one of the girls sang in the band as well!
All in all, I heard nothing but good things about this wedding, and Jessica and Lizzy did an amazing job of capturing it. Paul and Diana, thank you so much for falling in love and allowing us to be a part of your big day! We wish you nothing but happiness and joy in your years to come!
