Krissy & Jason’s Beauty and the Beast Wedding at the Montour Club
Krissy and Jason are undoubtedly one of the most fun couples I’ve had the opportunity to photograph. They fell in love, and Jason proposed to Krissy at the end of their Appalachian Trail thru-hike on the top of Mt. Katahdin in Maine. Much in line with their personality, when they fixed their wedding date, they chose to celebrate their big day in a different style. Krissy and Jason hosted their Beauty And The Beast-themed wedding at the Montour Country Club in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. They gave me the opportunity to be their wedding photographer and I enjoyed being a part of their celebration.
Beauty and the Beast Wedding
I just LOVED this wedding! The wedding theme spoke to my soul because I am a true Disney girl. However, what really got me was that the parents surprised Krissy and Jason with a SNOW MACHINE! It made for some stunning wedding memories and photos. For me, it was the highlight of the wedding. If one saw the look on Krissy and Jason’s face at that moment, they’d know it was special to them too. The guests had a blast and danced like there was no tomorrow! It sure was a fun wedding.
Besides this, I instantly became a fan of Krissy’s Beauty And The Beast cape. It seemed like she came straight out of the movie! I even got this photograph of Krissy wearing her cape and Jason embracing her under the stars with a silhouette of the trees in the background. The photo came out stunning!
Montour Country Club Wedding Photography
After the wedding, when I contacted Krissy to ask her about one piece of advice she’d like to give to future brides, she said, “Honestly, just enjoy the day! Don’t let anything bother you because it goes by fast and only happens once. Also, don’t feel bad about people helping you because it’s your day, and they love you. They just want to make sure your day is special.”
