Sarah and Josh make such a cute couple. Their beautiful and heart-warming smiles can light up any dull moment. This lovely couple had a November wedding in the Hall of Architecture of the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. It was a beautiful and romantic affair. I got the opportunity of being Sarah and Josh’s wedding photographer and enjoyed each second of the day.
Josh had proposed to Sarah at the Phipps Conservatory while reciting a John Donne poem, which gave them the idea of getting married at this venue. Since they are members of the Carnegie Museum and visit it monthly, they thought it would be a special space to share with their guests. Also, Sarah told me she picked this extraordinary venue for her wedding because of its elegance, and I am in total agreement with that. I love weddings at the museum! It is SO cool to be able to take photos in front of the exhibits! They never disappoint.
On the wedding day, Sarah looked gorgeous in her ankle-length bridal gown. I loved the way she added a pop of color to her look with her blue pumps. Josh looked handsome in his charcoal gray suit. Florals by Hepatica added to the beauty and grace at the wedding. I got some great traditional portraits of Sarah and Josh and even some fun photos in front of the dinosaur skeleton exhibit. I loved everything about this wedding.
Later, as I was talking to Sarah about her wedding, she gave us an amazing piece of advice for our brides-to-be. She said, “There will be a period of planning and then a lull before the final period of planning. Use that time to do the little things that you’re putting off.”
Sarah, thank you for your valuable advice! We’re sure it will guide future brides and new couples to plan their weddings. We love you and wish you and Josh a happy married life ahead!
